TERMS & CONDITIONS

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the mobile bartending services provided by Cartini Melbourne. By using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.​

SERVICES

​

Cartini Melbourne provides mobile bartending services for private events and functions. We will provide all necessary equipment, staff, and supplies to fulfill your event. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at any time. Minimum 4 hour service unless stated otherwise.

BOOKINGS / PAYMENT

​

  • All bookings are subject to a 40% deposit which must be paid within seven (7) business days of the invoice issue date via Direct Debit, Visa, Mastercard or Apple Pay. This deposit secures the date, staff, and associated services necessary for your event.

 

  • All quotes / invoices include a 10% GST surcharge within the quoted price.

 

  • Once the deposit has been made minimal reductions or increases can be made to your booking with fair notice; some of these may incur other fees and change the overall total owing for your booking.

 

  • The remaining balance must be paid within twenty-one (21) days prior to your event. If payment is not received in full, we reserve the right to cancel your booking.

 

  • For a booking within twenty-one (21) business days of your event, full payment will be required to secure Cartini Melbourne’s service.

 

CANCELLATIONS / RESCHEDULING

In the unfortunate event you may need to cancel you agree to the following terms:

  • All cancellations or change-of-dates must be in writing.

  • Greater than ninety (90) days : 100% refundable

  • Less then ninety (90) days, but greater than thirty (30) days: 50% refundable

  • Less then thirty (30) days: Non-refundable

 

  • Events can only be transferred to an alternate event date if Cartini Melbourne is able to accommodate the new event date, however reserves the right to decline and is to the discretion of Cartini Melbourne.

 

  • Any rescheduled date must be within twelve (12) months of the original booking date and any deposits paid will be credited towards the new event date.

 

  • Any rescheduled date will require an amended quote that reflects the costs in place at the time of the rescheduled period.

 

  • This can only be actioned once unless stated otherwise by Cartini Melbourne and must be credited towards the exact same payee (non-transferable).

 

  • Should the customer not wish to book within twelve (12) months of the original booking date the deposit will be forfeited in the favour of Cartini Melbourne and no refund will be issued.

 

  • All cancellation / rescheduling terms apply for any government related decisions that may effect your booking with Cartini Melbourne.

 

If Cartini Melbourne is unable to perform the agreed upon service on the confirmed date due to unforeseen circumstances Cartini Melbourne will notify the payee as soon as possible and either:

  • Re-schedule the event in agreement with the payee.

  • Credit or refund the booking in accordance with the cancellation policy as stated above.

 

BONDS

​

  • A minimum security deposit is required when hiring glassware, our portable bar(s) or Cartini Junior unless stated otherwise and is 100% refundable if no goods are damaged, stolen or lost by any guest(s) at your event.

 

  • A $150 bond for glass hire (100% refundable). A charge of $7 per glass will be applied and deducted from your bond if any glasses are damaged, stolen or lost.

 

  • A $150 bond for bar hire (100% refundable)

 

  • A $100 bond for Cartini Junior hire (100% refundable)

 

Note: Excludes any damages made by Cartini Melbourne

 

EXTRAS

​

  • If you and your guests are enjoying the Cartini experience and wish to extend our service time, an extra service fee will be charged.

 

  • Final payment of the extended service time must be paid to Cartini Melbourne before continuing to provide the service.
     

  • Any associated parking fee’s will be billed to the Payee’s of the event, post-event.

 

  • Cartini Melbourne reserves the right to charge the Payee’s credit card on file and contact legal authorities if the Payee’s financial obligations are not met.

 

SAFETY

​

Cartini Melbourne does not condone any physical or verbal abuse towards guest(s) or staff members. In the event that staff of Cartini Melbourne feel any threat, they reserve the right to leave the premises with all equipment and your payment will be forfeited in favour of Cartini Melbourne.

  • The Payee is responsible for the site.

  • The Payee is responsible for the safety of all persons, including the personnel of Cartini Melbourne.

  • Cartini Melbourne do not accept liability for any loss or damage to property or for any personal injury that may occur during the provision of our services.

DISLAIMER

​

Please be aware that Cartini Melbourne DO NOT provide alcohol, though do give you an approximation based on the Responsible Service of Alcohol regulations.

​

  • Cartini Melbourne reserve the right to make changes to services, including changes to the type of equipment, staff, or supplies used, as long as these changes do not materially affect the quality of the services.

RESPONSIBLE SERVICE OF ALCOHOL

​

  • Cartini Melbourne encourage the responsible service of alcohol and reserve the right to refuse the service, or remove from the premisis any guest(s) who is deemed intoxicated.

  • Cartini Melbourne reserves the right to request valid ID at their discretion and to refuse service to guest(s) who don’t comply.

  • The Payee represents and warrants that it, or it’s responsible person is of legal age to purchase alcohol and is the responsibility of the Payee, including the responsibility to abide by the applicable laws governing the sale and supply of alcohol to others, which includes but is not limited to:

    (a) The Responsible Service of Alcohol
    (b) The serving of alcohol to minors
    (c) Ensuring they have all relevant licences and approvals for the sale or supply of alcohol at that particular location

 

  • If the event is not in a private home or space, the Payee must ensure that an area will be set aside for the exclusive use of the persons who have booked the function and is attended only by the Payee(s) and guest(s).

    (a) If they Payee causes us the contravene or breach any of the terms of it’s licences or any other law or regulations, the Payee must reimburse Cartini Melbourne for any damages, fines, penalties or costs incurred including damage or economic loss related to any loss of Our Licences or breach of regulations or laws.

 

 

By using our services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these terms and conditions, and you agree to be bound by them.
